Intended Learning Outcomes
- Overview of the promotion process and the new 2025 promotion criteria
- How to build your case for promotion
- How to raise your profile internally and externally
- Benefits of mentoring and role models
- Q&A with Vice-Deans, panel members, promotions advisors and P&OD
The total workshop will run from 9:30am-1:00pm but will be delivered in two parts. It is recommended you attend both parts, although participants will have the opportunity to leave after the first part if they are not able to attend for the full session.
Part 1 (9:30-11:30am): Information session (recorded) which will provide guidance on the new criteria, the promotions process and advice from panel members and promotions advisors.
Part 2 (11:30am-1:00pm): Interactive discussions and breakout activities to go into more detail on the types of evidence you can use to support your application as well as discussions and sharing of experiences with senior colleagues.
