Join us for a compelling photographic exhibition at the Royal Horticultural Society Bridgewater Garden in Worsley, Salford, celebrating the powerful connection between home and garden for people living with dementia in Northwest England. Curated by Rita Newton and supported by the Royal Horticultural Society, The University of Manchester, and Lancaster University, this exhibition showcases how individuals with dementia use and access their gardens throughout the seasons. Featuring quotes from those living with dementia about the importance of being outdoors, the exhibition invites visitors to reflect on the therapeutic effects of nature and the continuity of gardening in their lives.
