As night falls, our beautiful library will be illuminated with spectacular light, music and movement as the Royal Northern College of Music performs compositions inspired by Shakespeare’s works. Immerse yourself in the lights and sounds for a contemporary take on one of the country’s greatest writers.
Stunning visual and audio performances will guide you through the Library’s beautifully historic spaces and concluding in the neo-gothic splendour of the Historic Reading Room.
To make sure you see everything, our full 1-hour programme starts on-the-hour at 6, 7 and 8pm. If you’re just joining us for a flying visit, drop in between 6 and 9pm and a member of staff will direct you to the next performance.
Free entry. No need to book, just turn up.
