Overview Publishing research ethically and transparently is essential to advancing knowledge and building trust in academia. This workshop offers an engaging opportunity for you to gain deeper understanding of current and emerging best practices in publication, including tools and practical tips to support the dissemination of your research, and increased awareness of problematic publications.

Intended Learning Outcomes

  • Understand University policies on publication and authorship, including Open Access publication
  • Broaden your knowledge of problematic publication issues, including paper mills, and how these impact research and researchers
  • Develop a framework for evaluating alternative publication and sharing pathways, including pre-prints and micropublications
  • Explore tools for increasing the impact of your publications and outputs
  • Know where to find help and support in establishing and maintaining good publication practices
