A new six-week training programme called "Connecting with Commercial Organisations", designed to support academics in developing the skills and confidence to engage effectively with commercial partners, will commence in April. The programme will be delivered by Skillfluence Ltd, a UK-based skills development company with a mission to help researchers deliver maximum socio-economic value from their research.
To help you decide if this programme is right for you, we will be running an online taster session on 25th March from 12:00-1:00 pm, where you can learn more about the structure, content, and benefits of the programme.
Important: Attending the taster session does not automatically secure a place on the programme. Academics will still need to apply, and spaces are limited. Please note that only academics based within SHS are eligible to apply. We advise academics to apply for the programme after attending the taster session to determine whether the programme aligns with expectations. We also advise academics to read through the programme information via the micro-site link, including workshop dates and programme outcomes.
