"Novel small molecules that induce transcriptionally permissive epigenetic changes in chromatin".
|Starts:||15:00 25 Nov 2014|
|Ends:||16:00 25 Nov 2014|
|What is it:||Seminar|
|Organiser:||Faculty of Life Sciences|
|Who is it for:||University staff|
|Speaker:||Dr George Reid|
George worked for many years with Frank Gannon in Heidelberg and did a number of seminal experiments on the temporal dynamics of gene regulation before starting his own group in Mainz. Recently he has focussed on epigenetic changes during the transcription cycle. His thinking on the control of gene transcription is cutting-edge inspiring. Well worth a look, so do try to come along.
