This event is designed for international students interested in studying International Disaster Management at the University of Manchester, hosted by the Humanitarian & Conflict Response Institute (HCRI).

HCRI SPEAKER
Dr Martin Parham (Lecturer in Disaster Risk Management, HCRI) will talk about why studying the International Disaster Management MSc can help you with a career in risk management / resilience building and supporting sustainable communities.
He will explain how the course develops skills in governance, decision making, risk awareness, analysis and research.
ALUMNI SPEAKERS
Former HCRI students will talk about how International Disaster Management MSc developed their employability in the fields of disaster risk reduction, crisis management and humanitarian response.
INTERNATIONAL OFFICE
We will also be joined by representatives from the University of Manchester International Office who will speak on whys and hows of study in Manchester and how the University can support you.
PRACTICAL
This will be a webinar delivered through Microsoft Teams.
