Tinder Foundation are one of the UK's leading digital and social inclusion practitioners, supporting and distributing funding to a national network of organisations working with disadvantaged and deprived communities, helping people to learn skills and return to work, health and social contact.
This seminar is an opportunity to understand the role of research in a practice-driven organisation through a discussion of the Tinder Foundation Research & Innovation team's current activities including a longitudinal study of our learners, co-ordinating a network of grassroots research partners, and using data to inform strategic decisions both within our organisation and in central government.
The seminar lasts 1.5 hours with a short lecture followed by a discussion of how qualitative and quantitative methodologies can most effectively be used in a practice context.
