Research should be more inclusive, such as for researchers with a long-term condition like a disability, chronic illness, mental health condition, or who are neurodivergent.
Join Cancer Research UK for this online lunchtime webinar to explore the different challenges and barriers placed in front of researchers with a long-term condition, and how the research system as a whole can work towards being anti-ableist.
We'll kick off with a keynote presentation from Dr Hamied Haroon, Research Associate at the University and co-Chair of the National Association of Disabled Staff Networks (NADSN). This will then be followed by a panel Q&A with colleagues based across the network of CRUK Centres, Prof. Martin Bushell (Scotland), Prof. Pippa Bark-Williams (City of London) and Dr. Jessica Taylor (Cambridge).
