Special Seminar
Professor Jeff Brodsky, Avinoff Chair of Biological Sciences, University of Pittsburgh
Jeff Brodsky has spent over two decades studying the fundamental mechanisms that underlie protein quality control and its links to diseases such as cystic fibrosis. His work has focussed on the the recognition and degradation of misfolded proteins at the endoplasm reticulum and the development of small molecule inhibitors of key chaperones such as the Hsp70s. We are delighted to welcome Jeff to FBMH and very much hope you will be able to come to his seminar.
If you would like to talk to Jeff during his visit, please contact his host, Professor Stephen High stephen.high@manchester.ac.uk
