Waterstones Deansgate, in conjunction with The University of Manchester's Centre for New Writing, is delighted to host an evening with the acclaimed American short story writer, George Saunders.
Join us on Friday, 17 March for the release of George's first, and much anticipated novel, 'Lincoln in the Bardo'.
An original and imaginative work of fiction, already described by Zadie Smith in the New York Times as ‘a masterpiece’,'Lincoln in the Bardo' is one of the most anticipated novels of 2017 by the award-winning author of 'Tenth of December'.
George will be in conversation with Dr Kaye Mitchell, Co-Director and Senior Lecturer in Contemporary Literature at the Centre for New Writing.
