Title: Primitive algebraic points on curves
Abstract: We say a number field K is primitive if K and Q are the only sub extensions of K.
For example, numbers fields of prime degree are primitive.
Let C be a curve defined over Q with genus greater than 1. An algebraic point P on C is primitive if the number field Q(P) is primitive.
We present several sets of sufficient conditions for C to have finitely many primitive points of a given degree.
