This seminar will present the key concepts of health system resilience, and discuss some of the current debates on how it is conceptualized and how it can and should be used.
About the speaker:Dr Dell Saulnier is an Assistant Professor of health systems in crises in the Global Disaster Medicine – Health Needs and Response research group at the Department of Global Public Health, Karolinska Institutet, Sweden. Her primary research focus is on health system resilience and governance, including the legitimacy, information sharing, power, and the role of the private sector in resilience. She works mainly with floods and epidemics. She currently has projects in Zambia, Brazil, Cambodia, and Sweden.
