This roundtable discussion will focus on some of the challenges and insights of using creative practices when addressing issues related to politics, colonialism, and postcolonialism. Participants will share their thoughts on how creative practices, particularly creative writing and visual arts, might reshape methods, change our understanding of cultural production, and help put research into dialogue with non-academic partners. At the same time, there will also be some reflection on the obstacles and shortcomings of such methods, not least when discussing issues related to social inequalities. Attendees will be encourage to share their own experiences
