Title: Quantizations of nilpotent orbits in positive characteristic
Abstract: Nilpotent coadjoint orbits in a reductive Lie algebra play an important role in the representation theory of Lie algebras, especially over fields of positive characteristic. One definition of a nilpotent orbit is an orbit which is preserved by non-zero scalar multiplication; thus, the coordinate rings of such orbits are graded algebras, in fact graded Poisson algebras. For a graded Poisson algebra A, a natural problem is to classify the quantizations of A - filtered algebras whose associated graded algebra coincides with A. In this talk, we consider this problem for the general linear group and give a combinatorial classification of (Hamiltonian) quantizations in this case. This is joint work with Filippo Ambrosio and Lewis Topley.
