Be part of an engaging workshop that delves into interdisciplinary research and partnerships between AI and sustainability. We invite PhD students from The University of Manchester who are interested in or whose work intersects with these fields to attend and exchange ideas and insights on emerging challenges.

This exclusive event will highlight cutting-edge PhD research, foster collaboration across disciplines and spark inspiration for transforming academic work into practical solutions for real-world issues.

To secure your spot at the event, make sure you fully complete the registration and enter your details in all the required fields.

· PhD lightning talks

· World cafe - Brainstorming activity on digital and sustainable challenges and opportunities

· Networking/ funding opportunities

We are looking for PhD students to present their research

This will be an interdisciplinary group, so it’s an opportunity to share your knowledge outside of your usual field and to develop interesting conversations and new perspectives on your work.

If you would like to present your research which has a digital or sustainable element, please contact kitty.lo@manchester.ac.uk by 23rd October 2025. Speaker spaces are limited, so we recommend reaching out at your earliest convenience to secure your spot and avoid disappointment.
