Nexus Fusion
Please join us for the following seminar featuring Dr Steven Lisgo.
An advanced materials and wall design services startup. To accelerate progress, technology development strategies for fusion energy have diversified. Nexus is a supply chain company launching in late 2025 that focuses on plasma facing components. A hybrid public-private business model has been adopted that prioritizes close collaboration with public research institutions, the repositories of deep knowledge. Naturally, this includes The University of Manchester. The nontechnical, barebones pitch deck will be presented to illustrate the high-level, contextual content of interest to investors. Talk about the somewhat odd experience of moving from the structurem of academic life to the chaos of founding a company.
