Want to find out how the FBMH Technology Platforms can help your research?
As part of the Technology Platforms Thematic Group 2025 showcase series, the Protein and Metabolite Analysis group will be holding their 2025 showcase on the 31st of March (9.30am – 3pm) in the Michael Smith Lecture Theatre.
Come and find out how the Protein and Metabolite Analysis group can support your research with:
- Case studies highlighting how researchers and the technology platforms collaborate to support interdisciplinary projects
- A round table discussion on the future directions of protein and metabolite analysis support for interdisciplinary research within the faculty and beyond
- The latest technology offerings that cover the breadth and nature of protein and metabolite analyses available across the technology platforms (the perfect opportunity for new PhD students to find out what support is available!)
- What support vendors can offer the users of the equipment within the technology platforms (and their latest tech offerings!)

1.10pm – 1.15pm Summary
1.15am – 2.00pm Lunch and posters
- including vendor displays from BD Biosciences, Cytek Biosciences, Cytiva.
2.00pm – 3.00pm Meet the Research Technology Professionals - booked sessions
Attendees are invited to book a one-to-one meeting with one of the FBMH core facility managers or staff from Biomolecular Analysis, BioMS, Flow cytometry, as well as facility staff from FSE specialising in NMR and Protein Structure, to find out how each facility can contribute to the analysis of proteins and metabolites from their interactions, to their expression levels on different cell types, to their post translational modifications.
