Intended Learning Outcomes (ILOs)
- Summarise the concept of online teaching and learning and how this relates to The University of Manchester Flexible Learning Strategy
- Explain the challenges and benefits of online learning from learner and educator perspectives.
- Identify potential methods to enhance the student experience in online learning settings.
- Outline available resources and support structures for blended learning approaches appropriate for your setting.
- Identify and evaluate course materials and assessments suitable for online delivery (as applied to your context)
- Explore useful technologies and methodologies to diversify online teaching for learners and create effective teaching and learning materials (e.g. including facilitated discussions and sustainable assessments) for online learners.
