A general introduction and mapping of the key biochemical pathways with end-points useful in the Flavour and Fragrance Industry. The talk will be illustrated with smelling samples of important aroma molecules so the audience can make an association between their biochemical knowledge and their sense of smell. There’ll be a sustainability message about how traditional resources are maybe not the most durable and hence the need for talented molecular biologists and biochemists to find solutions!!
