Arriving to these shores from Sydney in 1972, Denise was awarded her PhD from LSE, under the supervision of Ken Wallis, in 1976 and in 1977 moved to The University of Manchester, as a Lecturer in Econometrics. In 1992 she was promoted to a personal Chair and since 1996 has held the Robert Ottley Chair in Econometrics.
The programme will include invited presentations by some of Denise's colleagues, collaborators and students.
The conference will start in the morning of Thursday 10th April 2014, after registration and coffee, and will end in the afternoon of Friday 11th April 2014.
There will be a conference fee of £100 (inclusive of bed & breakfast accommodation at Chancellors, for the night of the 10th, and conference dinner on the evening of the 10th) or £80 (inclusive of conference dinner, without accommodation).
