While there are some 800 exoplanets known, only a handful fall in the habitable zones of their stars. I will discuss how exoplanets are discovered and the difficulties in identifying Earth's twin. In doing this I will review current space missions and look forward to a bright future where we will have planets whose atmospheres can be searched for indications of life.
