Richard Whalley, Kevin Malone and the Ebonit Saxophone Quartet explore the possibilities of their instruments and create new tools of expression. Together, they've forged unheard colours and sound combinations, demanding the utmost of the players, from celebratory cries of Native Americans in Malone's "Standing Rock" to Whalley's "Refugees Welcome ?"
This event is presented as part of New Music North West 2017, a major festival showcasing new music in our region.
