Presented by Dangerous To Know theatre company Directed by Helen Parry

Christian and Shona have been cast in a tacky true crime docudrama as an abusive predator and his victim. As the two actors explore the undeniable attraction forming between them off set, they stumble into questions of male responsibility, female safety and the dangers of modern romance - and things get still more complicated once the camera starts rolling.

“Entertaining and often funny… the underlying message is clearly carried throughout, leaving nowhere to hide from it.” 4.5 stars - The Reviews Hub.

The show is an hour long, and each performance will be followed by a 45 minute post-show panel discussion.

Content warnings: Brief depictions of sexual assault, scenes of alcohol use, coarse language, references to stalking and femicide and instances of sexism. Age guidance: 15+

Pay What You Can. On Me is priced Pay What You Can. We don't want price to be a barrier between you and a memorable theatre experience. Simply pick the price you can pay (between £5 and £15), and join us for this very special event.

Charity Donations. The post-show discussion panel will include representatives from local charities, Manchester Rape Crisis and The Pankhurst Trust/Manchester Women's Aid. They will also be available to provide support and signposting for any audience members who have been affected by the themes.

The Pankhurst Trust/Manchester Women's Aid: Manchester Women’s Aid, part of The Pankhurst Trust, exists to offer clients the confidential help they need and to provide a holistic, safety-first approach, where the prospect of a life free from domestic abuse is possible.

Greater Manchester Rape Crisis: Greater Manchester Rape Crisis is a service run by women for women who have experienced sexual violence at any time in their lives, providing free, confidential and non-judgemental support. When you purchase your ticket, there will be an opportunity to donate to these frontline charities. Donations will be divided equally between the two.
