The CODE ECR network invites you to an afternoon seminar with Professor Alana Lentin from Western Sydney University entitled "Working With and Against Race". Professor Lentin will talk about how to conceptualise race as a technology of power via Cedric Robinson’s idea of the racial regime, in order to help us think about how race is recursively enacted. She will also explore the ways in which racial capitalism can be used as a methodology. This first half of the seminar from 2 - 3.30 will be a hybrid event.
For those able to attend in person, the second half of the afternoon will be an open discussion with Early Career Researchers and post-graduate students.
