Dear colleagues
We are pleased to invite expressions of interest for the Third Annual FBMH Future of Teaching and Learning Symposium, taking place on Tuesday 15 December 2026 in Stopford Building.
This year’s symposium will explore what Manchester 2035 means for teaching, learning, and student support across FBMH.
We welcome submissions from all colleagues across FBMH involved in teaching, learning, assessment, student support, and educational innovation.

Presentation Formats
Participants may apply to present on more or more of the key themes via:
15-minute oral presentation (oral presentation slots are limited and expected to be competitive)
1-hour Interactive workshop
Poster presentation
(There will again be a poster competition, with prizes awarded to the top posters as voted for by attendees.)
Submission Information
To express your interest in presenting at the symposium, please submit an abstract of no more than 250 words by end-of-day Friday 17 July 2026.
