Title: Twisted conjugacy in dihedral Artin groups
Abstract: Dehn’s famous decision problems have been studied for a wide range of groups, including both decidable and undecidable results for the conjugacy problem. A new method for finding examples came in 2010, when Bogopolski, Martino and Ventura studied the conjugacy problem for some extensions of groups. Their motivation came from the study of twisted conjugacy, a property which originates from Nielsen fixed point theory, but has now been studied as a decision problem. In this talk, I will summarise what is known about the twisted conjugacy problem (TCP), before discussing my work on solving the TCP for dihedral Artin groups.
