This webinar provides an overview of the interaction data available as outputs from the 2011 Census. Interaction data are about flows between two places, such as counts of migrants or commuters.
A large number of tables of flow data from the 2011 census are now available, including data deriving from new questions in the 2011 Census; the webinar will outline what subjects these tables cover, and how researchers can find the data for which they are searching.
Unlike census area data, with which researchers may be more familiar, flow data are made available in both open data and more detailed but more restricted forms. The webinar will describe the differences and the access arrangements for different sets of data.
