Title: The Hybrid conjecture
Abstract: We present the Hybrid conjecture, an analogue for Shimura varieties of the Mordell - Lang conjecture. It is a generalisation of both the André - Oort and André - Pink - Zannier conjecture that implies a case of the Zilber - Pink conjecture. We discuss the recent proof of the Hybrid conjecture in Shimura varieties of abelian type.
