This session introduces model diagnostics and data transformation techniques that can be used on numeric response variables (interval and count data). Plots are used to diagnose the appropriateness of applying regression models to particular data and some techniques are discussed for transforming data and model improvement. Effect plots are also used to investigate model-fit using residuals.
