As part of our work to ensure that SEED is a place where everyone feels a true sense of belonging, value and respect, we regularly hold confidential listening sessions to provide a safe space for colleagues to discuss either past or present experiences of inappropriate behaviour in SEED. Meetings will run for 20-25 minutes, with Kathy Bradley (Humanities EDI Partner) and Laura Winter (SEED Director of EDI).
We will listen to colleagues’ experiences and to provide signposting to appropriate support. We will also feedback to departments and senior leadership in SEED regarding the types of experiences people have reported to us. Unless you request otherwise, these meetings will be confidential and specific details of cases and individuals' identities will not be shared.
If you'd like to book a slot, please email Laura on edi.seed@manchester.ac.uk stating whether you would like to meet in person or online.
