The Instituto Cervantes Manchester in collaboration with the Music Department at the University of Manchester is pleased to present the concert
“‘A qué aguardan mis voces’: hidden gems of Spanish vocal music”,
a recital of Spanish vocal music in which the acclaimed tenor Jorge Navarro Colorado and
pianist-musicologist Ricardo Gosalbo explore different lyric-dramatic genres such as opera, zarzuela, tonadilla
and oratorio, offering a selection of little-known gems.
This recital features composers such as Sebastián Durón, Fernando Ferandiere, and Pablo Sorozábal.
There’s no need to book – the concerts are free, and you can just turn up on the day!
