Notch signaling is an evolutionary conserved signal transduction pathway that plays pivotal roles in numerous aspects of cell differentiation, tissue homeostasis and tumorigenesis. The Borggrefe-lab studies chromatin based mechanisms that control the Notch response. The seminar will cover a phospho-dependent mechanism that controls a committed chromatin state at Notch target genes.
