The DRTN welcomes you to the second webinar in our 2024 series: Exploring Educational Outcomes through National Datasets. This session delves into a wide range of data sources on educational outcomes, exploring gender pay gaps, assessments and labour market trajectories. The speakers will be:
Jools Kasmire who will give an introduction to the UKDS, the data sets available and how to access these.
Francesca Borgonovi who will use the rich and varied information contained in large-scale educational assessments to illustrate how gender gaps vary depending not only on what is being assessed, but also depending on when assessments are conducted and where assessments are conducted.
Claire Crawford who will use Longitudinal Education Outcomes (LEO) data to explore variation in education and labour market trajectories. In particular, she will use the richness of the LEO data to understand how these outcomes differ according to the number of years for which children are eligible for free school meals, not just the binary indicator.
This is a free event.
The speakers will provide recordings of their talks which will be available after the webinar through the NCRM website. You can subscribe to our newsletter to be notified when this goes live: newsletter.
