The Henry Royce materials summer school is a four-day residential course held in July each year, that introduces students to materials science and gives them a flavour of what it’s like to study at the University. The summer school is for students in Years 10-11 and costs £200 with a £25 deposit payable to secure a place. Bursaries are available for those from particular backgrounds.
