Superheroes
Join in this fun-packed family day exploring the world's superheroes. Take part in a special drama workshop and find out about Hercules and other ancient Roman and Greek heroes. Uncover the truth about the powers superheroes have through some of The University of Manchester's research. Find out how Daredevil hears with ultrasonic waves and Spiderman mimics the movements of geckos and spiders. Discover why bananas and spinach are good for you. Watch a selection of animated films and shorts with colouring, object handling and craft activities.
11.30am-12.15pm, 1.30pm-2.15pm: Superheroes of Ancient Greece
Odysseus and Hercules were the Superheroes of Ancient Greece. Find out more about heroes and where they are hiding in the Museum in this interactive family drama workshop with Neil Green.

12-1pm: Family Friendly Film Screening
Films and craft activities for younger children and their families. Why not bring a packed lunch and enjoy it whilst you watch the films?
