A week of workshops, training sessions and support focusing on digital learning.

Tuesday 9th May 2023 Building a sense of belonging for a student community using MS Teams 11:00 – 12:00 (ONLINE) with Reimala Sivalingam (AMBS) & Hamza Badenjiki (eLearning) This session will explore how we created an inclusive, accessible and personalised community space for an undergraduate programme using MS Teams to cultivate meaningful connection, communication and collaboration with students. We will share how we overcame the challenges experienced with a blended approach to remain connected with students beyond a face to face setting.

Technology Enhanced Learning: Choosing Tools and Planning Activities 13:00 – 14:30 (ONLINE) Explore tools to support teaching and learning and investigate how online and blended activities can be planned to encourage student engagement.

Getting Started with Adobe Express 14:00 – 15:00 (ONLINE) Adobe Express is a mobile and web app that brings education relevant templates, quick actions powered by Photoshop, Premiere and Acrobat PDF tools in a single application.

Introduction to Cadmus 14:00 – 15:00 (ONLINE) Cadmus is an assessment tool that works as a ‘wraparound’ to Turnitin. This live session provides a demonstration and feedback from Amanda Banks-Gatenby and Susan Brown who have trialled the tool during the pilot.

Extended Reality (XR) for Specific Courses (*Planning, Environment Management) 14:30 – 15:15 (ON CAMPUS) Book here An overview of apps that may be useful for teaching and learning in PEM.

Camtasia Drop-in 15:00 - 16:00 (ONLINE) Currently using Camtasia; however, have a few questions or need some support? Feel free to come along to the drop-in session where you will be able to get dedicated support. This session is intended to provide 1-1 support for specific issues or queries you may have regarding Camtasia. Please note, this drop-in is suitable for those who are using Camtasia or have worked through the self-paced training.
