As part of Manchester's Festival of Libraries, The John Rylands Library is the venue for a new performance by Deaf artist Sophie Woolley.
Sophie Woolley performs a work-in-progress sharing of Robovac, a comedy solo show based on her lived experience of being a Deaf cyborg and Wellbeing Manifestation Officer in 2126. This is a performance in English and Sophie will also invite people to participate during the session.
Sophie is an Unlimited Artist in Residence. She is a multi-disciplinary writer, performer, and comedian from London, working across comedy, TV, theatre, radio, and literature. Her TV acting credits include Bridgerton (Netflix), Cast Offs (Channel 4), and Comedy Lab (Channel 4).
Access information; The event will include BSL interpretation by Katrina McEachran for both the performance and Q&A components.
