The objective is to provide relevant insights about various reasons behind different poverty dynamics and poverty trajectories, such as poverty escapes, poverty descents, chronic poverty, transient poverty, and vulnerability to poverty. During the seminar, Isaac will also explain the concepts of “structural transformation”, “asset holdings”, and “enabling environment”, and the role they play in determining whether individuals escape, fall into, or continue to live in poverty conditions.
