ICRR is the largest international meeting covering all aspects of radiation research. It is held once every four years.
The 2019 meeting is being held in Manchester Central and has a programme of international leaders speaking to themes spanning basic research in DNA damage response and cell signalling, translational studies bridging therapeutic approaches, biomarkers and diagnostics through to clinical and environmental research.
Following the legacy of previous ICRR meetings, ICRR 2019 embraces research across all disciplines within radiation research and related fields to facilitate the development of multidisciplinary collaboration and interaction.
This is facilities by cross cutting themes that span the programme including the immune system, genomics and particle effects. Over five days the Congress offers multiple opportunities to bring together established and young researchers, commercial leaders in the technology and science field, clinicians and clinically focused researchers to foster new links and future scientific developments.
