Live opera, projections and live sound, with a story steered by the room. One night only in Manchester.

Nobody knows how this opera ends. Not even the cast. The audience steers the story live, right up to the final scene. “The beginning of a new operatic form.” British Theatre Guide “I never thought I could be part of an opera. Now I know I can.” Audience member, 2025 For fans of Bandersnatch and immersive theatre.

THE WORLD Japan’s most famous ghost legend, a story of love, ambition and betrayal, reset in a near future ruled by an AI empire.

YOUR PART The show senses the audience and responds while it runs. Scenes shift with the mood of the hall. Played to a different audience, it would be a different show. This one happens exactly once.

ON STAGE Opera voices at full power, only metres away. Live musicians. Sung in English.

WHO TO BRING The friend who pauses films to argue about what should happen next A date you want to surprise Anyone who says opera is boring
