The University is hosting a network event to promote our Research Councils UK funded School-University Partnership Initiative (SUPI). The event is designed to bring together researchers and teachers to talk to each other about their work, and allow individuals to identify opportunities for collaborating over the course of the SUPI project.
The event will take place at The University of Manchester on Wednesday 15 October, 2014. Provisional running times are 4pm-6:30pm.
Delegates will have the opportunity to:
- Understand the aims and objectives of the School-University Partnership Initiative
- Hear from teachers, students and researchers about previous successful collaborations involving young people and research
- Explore the range of possible collaborations through informal meetings with University researchers
We held a similar event last year and since then many collaborative projects have developed from these meetings.
