As part of this presentation Dr Anja Wittkowski, Senior Lecturer in Clinical Psychology at the University of Manchester and Clinical Psychologist at Manchester’s Mother and Baby Unit at Wythenshawe Hospital, will outline some of her research studies in order to illustrate the steps involved in building up an evidence base. Anja will draw on her experience of leading on the IMAGINE study – a feasibility RCT for women admitted to a Mother and Baby unit – to highlight the challenges of research with this group of service users.
