The Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health will be marking International Women's Day with an afternoon of activities in Roscoe Building. See bit.ly/IWD_FBMH for more information.
As part of this event there is a free exhibition of medical instruments from the Museum of Medicine and Health, illustrating the revolution in western medical thinking surrounding obstetrics and gynaecology in the 19th and early 20th centuries. 'Toils of Labour' is curated by students of Art Gallery and Museum Studies MA: Nicholas Morris, Allison Rue, Daisy Strang, Joanna Taylor, Xue Zhang.
