Dr Leo Zeef of the Bioinformatics Core Facility will describe analysis of the transcriptome by microarray or RNA-seq. This presentation will focus on the practical issues; how to do this kind of study, and facilities available, here at the University. Key areas covered will be: cost-effective experimental-design, analysis strategies and limitations, as well as interpretation of results.
