2012 is the centenary celebration of Alan Turing; and to mark this, we are running two KS4 visit-days to give introduction to the life and work of Alan Turing, the man largely regarded as the father of computer science. Held at Manchester Museum, which is hosting the Alan Turing exhibition until November 2012 – the events will include an interactive show from a MOSI Presenter, an interactive workshop entitled Maths, Modelling and Morphogens, and two guest talks from academics from Mathematics and Computer Science.
