Chinese New Year is undoubtedly Manchester’s most bright and colourful annual celebration as the streets of Manchester will be awash in a sea of red lanterns, with lots of things to see and do. The Confucius Institute will be part of the City Centre celebrations , holding the following workshops:

Saturday, 17 February Manchester Arndale Centre – creative workshops for families (11am – 4pm) Virgin Money Lounge – Chinese brush painting workshops for adults (12noon – 4pm)

Sunday, 18 February Central Library – creative workshops for families and Chinese tea ceremony (12noon – 4pm)
