Mythical Beasts Sleepover

Come along to a beastly sleepover at The John Rylands Library as part of Museums at Night, the annual nationwide celebration of museums.
After a roaring welcome from Grumbold, the Library’s Dragon, create monstrous mess and make beastly masks, take a torch-lit tour of the Library’s spooky cellars, show off your best monster moves at the disco and embark on a trail to create your own mythical beast!
The fun continues into the night! Get cosy in the Library’s grand Historic Reading Room and snuggle up to watch Monsters Inc.
Mythical Beasts Sleepover is for children aged 5-11, but accompanying adults will enjoy it too.

Additional information:
• Sleeping arrangements will be communal, in the magnificent Historic Reading Room.
• You will need to bring your own sleeping bags and pillows.
• Food and drink must not be taken into the Historic building, picnic facilities will be available in the café area throughout the sleepover.
