This theme focuses on health and illness experience grounded in the wider contexts of peoples’ lives as well as within health and social care contexts. In this seminar, we will talk about the aims and interests reflected in this theme including:
• Management of multimorbidity
• A critical focus on diagnosis/overdiagnosis and implications for clinical and self-management
• Experience and provision of care for marginalised groups
• Informal and community based care
• The role of technologies for person-centred care and self-management
• Methodologies and ‘co-production’
We intend the seminar to generate discussion and to invite involvement from Centre staff/ students to help shape the theme further and contribute to future theme meetings
