The interactive 'Cocoa Sustainability Challenge' run by Judith Krauss from the Global Development Institute, University of Manchester, is a fun way to learn about the challenges related to sustainability in the cocoa sector. In the two-hour game, you will find out more about cocoa production through research conducted at Manchester and elsewhere, work together in groups to develop a vision of 'your chocolate', react to unforeseen events, and negotiate with others about your and their priorities.
Come along just as you are to travel along the whole cocoa value chain and back - have fun learning about sustainability, chocolate, and much more (and there'll be some chocolate to taste, too)!
This event is brought to you as part of the ESRC’s Festival of Social Science. www.esrcmanchesterfest.ac.uk
